The funny thing about your comment is that the devs get REALLY screwed over by the free game giveaways. If you cant understand how thats a problem, then none of us can put training wheels on the conversation enough for you to keep up. Had Epic entered the market by just giving away games and not trying to force people onto their platform, we would probably be having a different conversation.īut its the fact that they invested millions upon millions of dollars into trying to prevent people from having the choice to use Steam. Its disheartening that you choose to give market share to a company that entered the industry and gained fame by literally paying devs not to release on Steam.
